Description
Background
In SBM version 10.1.3, Serena introduced a new paradigm in user experience with the SBM Work Center. SBM User Workspace remained available in the product to enable organizations to transition from SBM User Workspace to SBM Work Center over a period of several releases.
DEPRECATION OF SBM USER WORKSPACE
To ensure the best quality user experience, Micro Focus / Serena expects to focus efforts on SBM Work Center in future releases of SBM as the premium user interface. In moving towards this goal, Micro Focus / Serena expects to designate SBM Work Center as the default user interface in releases of SBM greater than version 11.3. While SBM User Workspace will remain in the product, use of SBM User Workspace is not recommended and enabling its use will require a specific action by administrators.
It is expected that development against SBM User Workspace will end with the release of 11.3. Any noncritical issues encountered with SBM User Workspace are not expected to be addressed in patches to or future releases of SBM.
