SBM 2009 R1




After upgrading to Serena Business Mashup 2009 R1 and attempting to log into Mashup Manager, the user receives the following error instead:

Server Problem Detected
Failed initializing server: Invalid authentication attempt, principal=null


This could be related to a problem with your JBoss login-credentials. Please have a look at this file: C:\Program Files\Serena\Business Mashups\Common\jboss405\server\default\conf\login-config.xml and check whether it has a section similar to this:


<application-policy name="mashupmgrManagerSecurityDomain">
            <login-module code="" flag="required">
                <module-option name="username">sa</module-option>
                <module-option name="password">123412412342315</module-option>
                <module-option name="managedConnectionFactoryName">jboss.jca:name=serenaAdminDsn,service=LocalTxCM</module-option>

If the username or password does not exist or is not the one it should be, the login-config.xml file may have to be manually corrected. Please contact technical support for this.
