Description
If SSM is installed with SBM, this problem may occur.
Resolution
This problem happens because the Apply it trying to run a very slow script. But, this script is only needed once during the database upgrade process. After it has run once, you don't need to it run again. You can force the system to skip this script, by following this workaround:
- Edit the file at: C:\Program Files\Micro Focus\SBM\Common\UpgradeResources\resources_location_config.xml
- In this file, find the setting for AE_DB_UPGRADE_DLL, and change the path to the file. The path will be invalid causing Configurator to skip this step and continue with the remaining steps. Therefore, the overall speed of the Apply will be faster.
