A customer has reported the following problem in the RLSMAREA.SERVICE.PROMOTE XML service. If the <package> tag is supplied as filter criteria it is automatically assumed that the promotion is being requested from the first defined area rather than the one specified within the request.
A customer has reported problems/inconsistencies in the variables passed to IMS PSB build processing based on the method that the request was submitted (i.e. between the ISPF client and XML Services). They specifically referenced the PDSETYP and CMPSUBT variables as examples. To test this out we inserted the following lines of code at the start of the CMNPSBGN skel and issued component build requests for the same package component via both the online/ISPF and the XML Services interfaces:
