CMS-XML Installation site updates causing invalid or non-submission of CMN21 job
In CMN ZMF 5.5.1 under DEF80035 (CHGMAN tries to submit 21 job instead of 20 job) Serena implemented a solution to the problem where CMN21 jobs were being submitted instead of CMN20 jobs in certain circumstances. Additional safeguards were added to the freeze/install JCL- build process to avoid the potential for this happening.
CMS-XML CMN21 installation job is intermittently failing to submit
2. Build the X node JCL after final approval by setting. change the Admin parm " BUILD INSTALL JCL AT APPROVE" to "YES"? Be aware that this is both a global parm and an application parm.
CMS-XML How can I get two separate 21 jobs?
If the logical DB2 subsystems point to two different physical DB2 subsystems, there will be 2 distinct CMN21 jobs built within the single CMN21 member in the X dataset. One for each physical DB2 subsystem.

The CMN $$JBL skeleton is used by a number of skeletons, including the job card skeletons (e.g. CMN $$JCD, CMN $$JNM, etc.) to build a JOBLIB concatenation, and also within the job steps that run CMNDB2PL (e.g. CMN $$PRB, CMN21 , CMN 32, etc.) to build a STEPLIB concatenation.

CMS-XML Batch Recompile receiving 'CMN0038I - Change Man is down' due to USER parm on job card.
The customer discovered when running Audit they had to set both USER values to 'CHGMAN' in order for it to work in their shop. However, in batch recompile it does not work because even though both USER values are 'XXXMAN', the sysin cards built have the RPC keyword USR=TSOID which is the user ID that submitted the batch recompile . This results in the message 'CMN0038I - Change Man is down'.
CMS-XML CMN20 job gets RC=04 because scratch component is not in the staging library
Here is an example of the //SELLOD step with the ‘SELECT MEMBER=’ cards generated (BEAR1 is the scratch component): //SELLOD EXEC PGM=IEBGENER, *** BUILD "SELECT MEMBER=" CARDS // COND=(4,LT)
