Depending on your Oracle database configuration, you may have to change the format of how your attachments are stored in your database. In TeamTrack 6.6.1, attachment data could be stored as either LONGRAW or BLOB format in the database. With Serena Business Mashups, the data must be stored as BLOB format.

If the customer has their own Oracle installation then the answer is yes. With the Oracle Run Time Binaries there are files missing from the full installation that the upgrade/patch will be missing and errors will arise. R&D has recommended upgrading the Binaries and follow Oracle's directions in the README.
