This document is for versions of SBM prior to 11.4. SBM 11.4 lets you set Tomcat memory allocation in the Tomcat Server section of the SBM Configurator.
For large numbers of web users, the tomcat process may exhaust its available heap. On Windows systems, the tomcat process is either started from a bat file or as a service. Depending on how tomcat is started, the method of reconfiguring the memory available to tomcat varies.
This will bring up a user interface for managing Tomcat: a window with the title Serena Common Tomcat 8 Properties. On the Java tab of the Serena Common Tomcat 8 Properties window, increase Initial memory pool (-Xms) and Maximum memory pool (-Xmx) to increase the Tomcat Service's memory allocation.
