A number of customers have upgraded Tomcat 8.5 that comes with Dimensions CM to newer 8.5.x versions in order to resolve some vulnerabilities. However, after Tomcat is upgraded some of the Connectors fail to start up. Tomcat logs include the following errors:
Serena Deployment Automation utilizes the Serena Common Tomcat and the log4j logger. A default installation will leave some plain configuration setups for the logger. If tomcat is running for weeks or longer, the log files can become very large and difficult to browse and search.
