Get "Server Error" when publishing task plan and Actual finish date cannot be later than actual start date on certain task plans. After getting this error there isn't a way to publish the plan. I came up with a work around to allow the plan to publish but after that the task plan is corrupt and most of the tasks are missing .
Please check the DA install.properties file for missing entries. This file can be found in the DA profile: .serena\ra\conf\server or as of DA 6.1.4 under: .micro
Note that some operating systems do not have certain run levels. For example, Solaris may not have level 5, and Linux may not have level S. Simply skip the ln commands for the corresponding rc#.d directories, or ignore the No such file or directory errors.
As a prerequisite step ‘pulse_mssql_pre_install.cmd’ also needs to be run on the remote SQL server. You also need to change the sqlserver hostname at the jdbc url of the startup .properties in C:\ProgramData\Serena\Pulse\conf. By default, the dimensions server hostname is applied.
