At this stage if you go into IIS and check the site bindings, the certificate is not assigned to port 433 but is listed in the drop down box. If you select it and click on OK it fails with the same error which configurator is complaining about. It is then when you delete the certificate in IIS and try again and everything works fine.

When using Client Cert with Composer if you click OK in composer options on any screen but the Repository tab you lose the selected client certificate.

When using Client Cert with Composer if you click OK in composer options on any screen other than Repository screen you lose the selected certificate and then you will no longer be able to connect to the repository. As a workaround you have to click OK from the Repository tab in Composer Options.

Select the Default Web Site (or the site you want to update) and right-click, ten select Properties->Directory Security->Server Certificate ...->Next->Create a new certificate ->Next->Prepare the request now , but send it later.Fill in the certificate request details. You can leave the name as "Default Web Site", the Bit length to 1024, and the 2 checkboxes unchecked.

When running the DM stream utility with the --user and --password option the user's credentials are not saved for future sessions. It is expected that using the command line options should work the same as the GUI login.
