Increasing the block size on IMAP mail client connections
In SBM 10.1.5 and above there is an advanced button - Open Configurator | mail client | advanced. For a regular IMAP connection you can modify the block size by entering this in the Advanced box: mail.imap.fetchsize=819200 If you are using an SSL connection to IMAP then you need to add that parameter instead: mail.imaps.fetchsize=819200

SBM Notification Server, Outlook 365 and OAuth 2.0
As of October 13, 2020, Office 365 will be discontinuing support for Basic Authentication to POP3, IMAP and Exchange Web Services. SMTP Auth will continue to use Basic Authentication on this date. What does this mean for SBM?

Get "( System Error = Cannot create a file when that file already exists. )" when setting up IMAP mail client.
As a workaround, start a different mail client like Outlook, Outlook Express or some other mail client that is setup to use the same IMAP account. Using that client, do a Send/Receive and then exit the client. Go back to the SBM mail client, and restart it.

How to setup SBM to accept email submit of new items (SBM 10.1 and above)
Create one dedicated POP3 or IMAP mailbox account for each SBM project that will accept email submissions. This is beyond the scope of this document. However, your email administrator should be able to do this for you.
