CMS-XML ModScript has functions that require the usage of Variant, let's offer other options
ModScript has functions that require the usage of Variant, let's offer other options

ModScript : how to get an equivalent of the getDay() function in javascript which returns the day of the week (0-6)
CMS-XML GetSelectionList() function in ModScript is not working as expected
It is not possible to use GetSelectionList() function because it seems to return an object that ModScript doesn't know how to work with Error message: "Error with function dispatch for function 'Count'" With parameters: (class CSelectionList).()
CMS-XML Scheduler Job running script shows 'FAILED' but has been executed. After some days it may even stop running
If you have defined a Scheduler Job in Application Administrator to run a modscript , it is possible in certain circumstances that you may see failure messages in the NS log, though the script seems to have run correctly. An example message might be of the form Unable to send event 25 of the notification 184 to recipient 8: java.lang.NullPointerException
CMS-XML Modscript : Generate random number / String examples
Documentation for <= SBM 11.4.1 is incorrect for the Rnd() function . This does not require a parameter.
CMS-XML Modscript reads in integers as 32 bit instead of 64 bit with from_json ()
When using ModScript and attempt to use the from_json() function , you will see an issue where if there is a 64 bit integer, the code will read it in as a 32 bit integer, and the buffer will overflow, therefore not giving us the expected number. See the submission for a fix to the ChaiScript code for more info: https://github.com/ChaiScript/ChaiScript/issues/368
CMS-XML ModScript Error: "Missing clone or copy constructor for right hand side of equation" With parameters: (VarRecord)
Example: When calling this function from another using : var fieldFilters = this.getTableFieldFilter(fieldList);
CMS-XML ModScript : Make it easier to convert Variant Date to TimeT
e.g. To get current date One option would be to load a DLL, which would work but take time to deliver and maintain. Another option is to use the "Now()" function, which was brought into ModScript to support conversion from AppScript. Unfortunately, the Now() function is affected by the Windows timezone for the AE server, so if you want to get the UTC time, you'd need to change the Windows timezone for the AE server to a UTC/GMT timezone.
CMS-XML modscript time errors when calling from a transition called by a web-service
When a modscript is run on a transition called by a web-service (not started from a browser), then there is no "user" associated with the environment, so the TimeZone used will be UTC, rather than the user's profile selection.
