You may experience errors in the TeamTrack Administrator interface when running different client and server versions of Oracle. You may also encounter errors when using different character sets on the Oracle client and server machines. Serena Software recommends using the same versions and character sets on both the Oracle client and server.

As the ORACLE or PCMS Tool-Manager operating system account run the PCMSLOGIN.COM script to set up the PCMS environment and then run the following command: $ sqlplus sys/<password> @ora_rdbms:catexp This will upgrade the necessary export views to be consistent with the correct version of the Oracle database, However, please keep in mind that this script shoul donly be run on the same machine and using the environment which hosts the Oracle server.
