KM-Dim10: What is the maximum number of attributes per object class
The limits depend somewhat on the version of Dimensions involved and a lot on which database is being used with Dimensions. In Dimensions 10.1, the following limits exist.

This document applies to SBM 11.7.1 and earlier versions . The ability to limit the number and type of file attachments was added to Application Administrator in SBM 11.8.

After upgrade, when run report, get error "Exceeded maximum number of attempts to invoke webservice. methodname: GetDBConnectionsAsXml"
The Mariner server was upgraded to the new version , but the report server was not upgraded. You can verify this by going to Add and Remove Programs. Select Mariner, and click the link that says "Click here for support information".

Datafiles can be added to tablespaces, however, operating system-specific limitations do apply. In addition, Oracle imposes a maximum limit on the number of datafiles opened by any instance. This Oracle-imposed limit is Operating System (port) specific and is documented in Oracle's Operating System-specific documentation for each version of Oracle.

Execute the oracle_sizing script to determine the size and the default storage parameters for the PCMS_TEMP tablespace. Note that the default storage parameters of greatest interest are: INITIAL, NEXT, MAXEXTENTS and PCTINCREASE. The oracle_sizing script is located in $PCMS_ROOT/dbase/oracle_sizing.sql (or if your version of Dimensions CM does not contain it it is also attached to this article) and can be executed as follows:
