This can happe if users were accessing the base database when it was deleted - if you perform the select * from all_users query and find that the user is still listed then you must remove the user manaually, this is mentioned earlier in the tech bulitins howeve I have again given the syntax for this below.
When you are creating an item if you select the Design Part with drag & drop from the Design Part Structure, and then select an Item Type, the Item Formats that appear are all those of base database and not just those associated with specific Type. In addition with Dimensions 10.1.3 there is a message when selecting the type e.g.: COR4500146E: Error: Item type :SRC does not exist
