. License Manager is backwards compatible and will work normally for your existing SBM environments. IMPORTANT: Please make sure that you can rehost all of your SBM licenses before upgrading License Manager.
If the License Manager server needs to be replaced (or if any component of the hardware is replaced, causing the HostID value to change), you can "rehost" your existing license key. This will generate a new license key and legally invalidate the original license key.
