How this works in Mariner is in the sheduled services area in the UI there is a plugin called User Synchronization and you can setup a scheduled job to synch your ldap users. This scheduled plugin doesn't exist anymore so consequently you can't synch ldap users. Not sure if this is by design or not but we either need the plugin to be available or remove the option to "Use in Synchronization" from the Manage Providers screen for LDAP, AD and Windows as it's confusing.
Over time, new users will be added, other users will be removed, and others will be updated. To keep Mariner/PPM in sync with these changes, setup the synchronization job:
1. Modifying CSP admin pages Crystal Enterprise 8.5 does not expose the admin CSP pages thus the customer would need to create their own. With that said the CSP would have to synchronize the LDAP server with the CE server. This is costly and troublesome... not advised. 2. The common solution to this problem
[Expected Results] Should be able to give the LDAP attribute (i.e. Department) that is used to organize the users into the correct Resource Team. [User Impact / Workaround Required]
What is New or Updated in this Patch? 5820 Resource role dropdown on Generic allocation dialog is unsorted. 5833 XML configuration file for LDAP Sync doesn't deal well with providers in different db's. 5835 Synchronize users is importing users and deactivating them when no Resource Role exists in Mariner.
