It's possible to generate attribute values with an unexpected trailing space. The following command contains an attribute value for the DEFER_DESC attribute which seems fine i.e. it's "help". However you will notice that there is a space before the comma delimiter character and this is being picked up as part of the attribute value and stored in the database.
