CMS-XML DIMCM12.1: Deployment areas recommended to be defined with credentials
Dimensions CM 12.1 now does deployment and build operations in deployment areas asynchronously.
CMS-XML Credential Set UCS Not Updating Properly
User authentication failed DMN4510048E Error: User authentication failed ACL0004529E Error: username denied access to host HOSTNAME COR4501132E Error: Failed to update the following deployment areas : NAME_OF_DEPLOYMENT_AREA
CMS-XML Build run with invalid credential set still executes clean up script
The build fails as expected but when the clean-up script option is selected, the clean-up script is run and cleans the build area on the target server even though the account within the credential set doesn't have log on access to the target build server. Since a credential set was used containing an account that doesn't have access to the build server, we would expect nothing to occur on the build server.
CMS-XML Dim Cm 14.3.2 / Remote deploy in a 12.x agent machine executing post-script fails with "COR1601051E Agent system doesn't have the capability to handle certificates for users using single-sign-on: certificate generation is not possible"
file modification time "Mon Mar 27 12:46:47 2017 GMT", item revision "1") to "QA" deployment area "AREA_QA", directory '/tmp/' ... (copied okay).

Credential Sets Prior to this release, each Dimensions CM work or deployment area required a set of credentials (operating-system user-id and password) stored against it to be used for any operations performed against that area. When a password expired or changed with respect to a given user-id, the user had to search out the areas using that set of credentials and update them appropriately.

Dimensions CM: Rolling Back Requests (demonstration)
This demonstration shows you how to roll back to the previous version of a deployment area in Dimensions CM. A rollback puts back the files that were previously deployed to the area, not just the latest revisions of the files at that stage.
