CMS-XML Dim10: Phase Usage Rules for Requests are not followed with CM Rules turned on.
The phase usage chart for CM Rules and Requests are not being followed. Users are able to Relate Items as affeced before the Analysis Phase as well as the Frozen Phase.
CMS-XML Role of One User in Parent Design Part Incorrectly Gives Privileges to Other User
5. Create the Requests (CR in my example) in PART1 and PART2 (you may need to add a TITLE attribute to the Request Type in the Admin Console) 6. CMS-XML KM-Dim10: 1320-You may not relate/unrelate items /AFFECTED to request while it is in the WORK phase.
Problem: You have Rules enabled and probably have mis-defined your phase/state mappings.
CMS-XML KM-Dim7: Edit Attributes for multiple objects gets around the 'Append only' rule
If you have a Multi-Valued Attribute (MVA) and use it in a Block you can define whether the attributes in the block are completely updateable or just Append only. For example, when you attempt to update an attribute of a single change document this rule is activated and prevents you from updating previous values. However, if you select multiple change documents and edit the same attribute, the value you enter will overwrite all previous values and all data will be lost.
CMS-XML When you remove and item from a project that is related to a request, the item retains the relationship through the $GLOBAL project
When you remove and item from a project that is related to a request, the item retains the relationship through the $GLOBAL project. This relationship does not show up in the project relate/unrelate, but does in $GLOBAL. Because of this, we are not able to close the request when Rules are enabled and the object needs to be in a certain state
CMS-XML DIM10: The privilege for "Relate Request to Item" is ignoring the "or" in rule "Object is in the user's inbox or user has current role" not working as expected
This can be easily reproduced by actioning some items and then assigning the pending role to a new user. This will give him the role but the items won't be in his inbox. He's then unable to relate the item to a request .
CMS-XML KM-Dim10: Update request privilege allows users to update attributes even when no attribute update rules exist
By default the absence of an update rule should prevent a user from being able to update an attribute unless they have a change-manager role. The update request privilege should only allow users to update attributes with rules so this is a defect
