SLM: Error 2 the system cannot find the specified file / License manager service fails to start

After upgrading SLM , the newly installed version may fail to launch with an Error 2.

To resole this error, check the path for the license executable. If the license is not installed in the default path (C:\Program Files\Serena\ License Manager ), attempt to resolve by editing the registry:

Stop the license service and try to rename the SerenaLicenseServer.log file.
