CMS-XML DIM CM: Araxis set up with Web Client Tools fails on comparing MS Office and PDF files with "Script exit code: 3" error
“(Script exit code: 3) The system cannot find the path specified.” The above error is shown when using Araxis to compare non ascii documents (MS Word, MS Powerpoint, MS Xls, rtf , PDF, HTML, odf) when invoked directly or when invoked from Dimensions Web Client. The error may occur when a Dimensions Web Client user installs the “CM Web Client Tools” (WCT) (an embedded installer to facilitate version management tasks) when the Serena Common Tools are not also installed in the system.
CMS-XML KM-Dim7: "file format type" is already defined with data class 2 not 1 as expected - received when setting up IDE.
If an object is defined as binary when IDE expects text, the IDE rules will not load. For instance, if you have RTF defined as class BINARY, IDE should return an error as indicated below:
