Before they can run any PVCS Version Manager command, users have to source the vmprofile or vmcshrc file based from whatever shell the user is using, to add the VM directories to the user's search PATH and setup a number of environment variables. Users of a sh/ksh/bash shell should run: VM_install_dirctory
If you get the following error from IIS then you need to add launch and activate permissions for the user IIS APPPOOL\DefaultAppPool. Please see the attachment for details on doing this for Windows 2008 R2. Error from IIS:
Dimensions server is installed on a AIX machine and a Dimensions agent is installed on a remote Windows machine . Running a build of 15000 items on the remote windows machine, the build fails in time-out issue, see screenshot below.
User receives an Error 1 from command on the execution of a VM command (usually GET). When the user tries it outside of the build script the GET command is successful.
Preference files can be both imported to and exported from the Workbench allowing you to easily share individual or group preferences. The Import wizard can be used to import preferences from the local file system to the Workbench. To import a preference file:
