If you have multiple revisions of the project marker file in the Dimensions project , it will display multiple times in the Serena explorer using the rich integration.
The following problems exist when working with ZMF4 ECL to manage java projects within the java perspective: i) Component checkout requests fail with the following user error message: Component null checked out by <userid> Get latest copy and lock?
Whenever a user attempts checkout a component to a personal dataset using the override property group functionality they always get a ‘Add to project error: Resource not added’ error message. Similarly, refreshing the ZMF Property Group from the z/OS Projects perspective receives the following error message:
After upgrading from 10.1.3 to 2009 R2, when trying to share a new project under Eclipse, the following error occurred: - COR0005191E Error: Format ECL-12901600920 is not allowed for Item type EGL:PROJECT This is in spite of the fact that ECL is already related to item type PROJECT.
) Baseline changes are not identified If a component is being actively developed in an IDz project , there appears to be no simple way of identifying if the component has been changed in the ZMF baseline library by another user in a different package
If you want to remove a single project from the display of “a” container you need to delete the “. ecl ” file from the directory of the workset housing the project . If you are trying to remove the entire container from the list then you will have to create a “new” workset via the Desktop Client and copy/export the items to the workset within the original workset. Then delete the container from the Serena perspective in the Eclipse IDE
Attempts to use language-specific editors (e.g. COBOL or PL/I) fail when invoked from the Serena perspective in RDz 9.1.1.1. Using the standard LPEX editor or any text based editor works fine. Similarly, using the language-specific editors in other perspectives, e.g. the z/OS Projects perspective, also works fine.
