Dimensions, Oracle and license manager all on one server, local to the users. Login was slow from the Desktop client , web client, and the admin console.
Logged on to Desktop Client as DMSYS and did a recursive GET on the 1185 items, it took roughly 85 sec. Cleared the work dir, then logged off and logged on as DAN, ran a recursive GET on same set of files. This time it took over 7 minutes.
When attempting to log into Dimensions 14.4 Desktop Client , it will crash or disappear. Review of the Application Event Viewer on the workstation shows: Faulting application path: C:\Program Files (x86)\Micro Focus\Dimensions 14.4\CM\prog\pcwin.exe
