When a change package is in the DEV state, you may get the following message when running the Release Package Validate: Package must be in frozen status before it can be promoted/ demoted
The reporting customer encountered a RACF error (ICH408I) on the allocation of the temp dataset. The allocation attempt is performed over and over until the user attentions out of the login attempt, or the user address space is cancelled. This " looping " can cause severe problems with the LPAR if it is allowed to continue.
This error can be seen in the OS Event Viewer. It is not an error that pops up in a window. The underlying problem can also cause PC Client login problems and depending on which action fails you might find the following in the log file produced:
Despite the call-out of the "WHILE" function, this is caused by incorrect generation of the BPEL code of a ForEach loop. This then becomes a "WHILE" in the BPEL code, but that fails due to incorrect code generation.
