With 9.1.x, the check-in is done sucessfully. With 10.1.3.3, there is a locking error with no workaround, except to close the Word file (the /NOMETADATA parameter has no effect). With 2009 R2, the error still occurs, but adding the /NOMETADATA parameter on the command line means the check-in is done successfully.

A user has multiple VBP projects under source control that he has saved as a VBG group file . Also included in this VBG group file is a Web Class VBP, that is not under source control (this error will occur regardless of whether or not it is under source control). He opens up the VBG file in VB 6.0, and it gives the following error message on all the VBP files except for the Web Class file:

You will find here a subkey know as SID.bak take a look probably this will be the key of the user you get this error. Delete this key and close registry editor (If you are not sure, first make a backup/export of the key before deleteing is). Then logoff and logon again.
