CMS-XML ChangeMan ZMF 8.2 Patch 4 Db2 Option: Required migration job DB2ALTER missing from early versions of documentation
ZMF Db2 option customers upgrading to ZMF 8.2 Patch 4+ must run the DB2 ALTER job as a part of their upgrade, prior to re-binding CMNDB2AD. This job is missing from early versions of the 8.2 Patch 4 documentation (e.g. Readme and/or Migration Guide). Failure to run this job will result in the bind of CMNDB2AD failing with a RC=12 and the following type of errors:
CMS-XML Do not use NEWFUN(YES) in the DB2 version 8 pre-compile
DA 5.5.3 tolerates DB2 V8 in compatibility mode only. IBM states that NEWFUN(YES) should not be used when in compatibility mode.

5.1.x, 5.2.x and 5.3.x will run with DB2 V6. There are no additions or changes that we have found in DB2 V6 that will cause problems in Change Man. There are 3 potential problem areas that were found that needed further research. Each one is found to have no impact on Change Man.
