In order for SBM to work correctly all its tables must be owned by dbo. If you look in MSSQL Enterprise Manager and you see any tables without the syntax of dbo.TS_USERS for example run the following sql against the database in question.
1) Go to Application Admin > More > Calendars 2) Select a Calendar, switch to Overrides screen. 3) Click Add to add a new holiday exception to the list.
The down side is that this replaces every instance. If some instances should change to one user and others should change to different user, you will have to change the defaults manually. Either way, this screen will tell you what needs to be updated.
7. Consult your network administrator, and ensure "Disable Real Time File System Protection" (for example for ESET File Security) is set on all distributed SBM servers. This is recommended for installations running within the company’s intranet, as it causes excessive disk I/O that interferes with SBM performance.
Best Practices: The Managing Design Changes in Enterprise SBM Installations white paper discusses how to best manage process app development and maintenance. The SBM Path to Production for Enterprises white paper describes best practices for managing process app design and deployment using a standard approach and a sandbox approach.
Some administrators would like to customize the verbage that appears when a user exits the user interface. For example; instead of "Thank You for using Serena Business Mashups ", you might want the exit page to say "Thank You for using My Company's system".
