Web Client upload gives precedence to file formats and mime types over the upload rules. Thus upload rules that indicate a particular file type should be binary are ignored. This causes unexpected file corruption.

If a product has no upload rules defined and you're uploading files to Dimensions using the Synchroniser, the Sync. will crash Desktop Client. It should simply state that there are no upload rules defined.
