Prior to the introduction of ZMF 5.5, when staging a SRC component , multiple CMN408I ' component activated ' messages would be issued when the compile & link is successful - one for each related component type (i.e. one each for SRC, LOD, LST, etc.): CMN408I - ABCD000123 Component SERENA1.SRC ACTIVATED 2004/10/15 @15:26:49.
CMS-XML V8.1.0.01 – Issue with second checkout to overlay active components in a pkg
In ZMF V8.1.0.01, with “Overlay prior staged module” admin flag being selected, it is not possible to perform a component checkout from baseline function after the same component was previously checked out and activated in the same package. The overlay warning does come up, but then is it followed by the CMN2330I message: ==================================

This security permission can be modified using the Component Services administrative tool.
If you get the following error from IIS then you need to add launch and activate permissions for the user IIS APPPOOL\DefaultAppPool. Please see the attachment for details on doing this for Windows 2008 R2. Error from IIS:
