CMS-XML S878 abends running CMNDB2PL for large numbers of components
In the customer’s situation they are abending around the 5,000 component mark. In our recreation we need to go up to c.13,000 bindcard components. However, it appears that it is not the number of bindcard components that is the major factor here but the size and format of the bindcard members themselves that dictate whether or not the problem occurs.

With this combination the LIBPATH does not have to be updated for the GUI to work. However if the user changes one of these factors then the GUI will fail. The GUI installation manual says to add the GUI sub directory to the LIBPATH statement.

There is certainly a combination of factors contributing to this problem. Running with different CMNDB2PL input parameters works. However, we have been unable to isolate the exact combination of parameters that results in the abend.
