Could not backup previous deployment of adminconsole and dimensions web client error occurs during upgrade to latest Dimensions patch on Windows Servers. The WebClientInstall.log file located in the <$DM_ROOT>\ cm \InstallTemp directory shows an error similar to the following:

Dimensions 10.1.1 Oracle 10g Creating a request takes longer than 10 seconds (from the moment of clicking on the 'Create' button), or opening a baseline with a large number of items (>10,000) takes minutes rather than seconds, and all the usual performance fixes have been tried to no avail (recalculating statistics, ensuring the tablespaces have enough space, rebuilding the indexes).
KM- Dim10 : Install patch 10.1.0.2 and receives Install Shield error "1063: Error installing Windows Installer engine. A file which needs to be replaced may be held in use. Close all applications and try again."
