There is a problem in Dimensions 9.1.3 where a username contains an apostrophe certain SQL operations fail. In this case a Checkout causes an ORA -00933 error to be generated.

If an Oracle database goes off line (during backups, for example), the SBM server will try to re-establish the connection for about 20 minutes and then fails to try any further.
