Customers have raised a number of concerns surrounding Serena’s ability to apply Oracle security patches to existing supplied Oracle Runtimes in a timely manner. Serena would like to take the opportunity to clarify the situation in the form of a communication which represents our ability to meet these requirements .
An updated version of Dimensions CM 14.2 build 9421 that addresses this issue is now available. If you installed an earlier build of Dimensions CM 14.2 then please see knowledgebase document S141279 for instructions on how to remove this version. Due to the nature of this problem, Serena recommends that you delay your production implementation of FDM 7.8.0.03 until a fix is available. Refer to Knowledge Base entry P2759 for updates. Should you require further information, please contact Serena Support.
is no longer supported, as the new return code processing makes its function obsolete. No change to customer JCL is required , as StarBat ignores PARM='RC=0'. If a return code of 04 (the new default) is acceptable for an empty input data set, no further action is needed. However, if a return code of 00 is preferred for an empty input data set condition, the StarBat return code table will need to be modified.
