When copying users or importing users via a spreadsheet the template user definition is important and can greatly impact the performance of these features. Ensure that this user is defined using group privileges to ensure good performance.
While trying to import data generated by Version Manager's VSQL command into an Oracle database, the SQL*Plus tool (sqlplus) fails with the error "User requested Interrupt or EOF detected". This happens when the record being imported contains an '&' character in any of the fields.
When importing contacts from LDAP with the option to replace mapped attributes if contact already exists selected, contact records will only be updated if they are not associated with an SBM user. A message of "Msg - User Associated" is written to the log if a contact record is found that is associated with an SBM user so it cannot be updated through the contacts import. To update contact records that are associated with SBM users , use the user import or update from LDAP which will also update any contact record fields that are mapped.
