CMS-XML Slow response when you search on a user in a relational field that points to Global Application Contacts table
If you get poor response when you search on a user in a relational field that points to Global Application Contacts table then please check if you have changed the Value Display Format (VDF) for the Contacts table.
CMS-XML Global Snapshot containing large numbers of Users and Groups and when promoting hangs on these selections because "Select All" is ticked by default
By default all users and groups are selected when you go to promote the Global snapshot. If you have many thousands of Users and you do NOT want to take all these when promoting , then you have to go to the Users screen to either choose none or specifically select. This screen can take a long length of time to populate or timeout.
CMS-XML Why does a feed from a different Process App get promoted with my Snapshot?
If a feed is created in a Process App and then a View (e.g. Activity, Calendar, Backlog etc..) using that feed is created at the global (All) level then this feed will be included in ALL snapshots. For Example: 1. Create a feed for AppA
CMS-XML Change to inclusion of Global Application in Mashups in SBM 2008 R3 and later
If a user had explicitly included the "Global Application" in a mashup other than the "Global Mashup", this relationship will be changed to a reference when upgraded to SBM 2008 R3 or later. If the user was expecting to be able to deploy/ promote changes to the Global Application as part of the non- global mashup, this will not occur.

CMS-XML Best Practice: How to Add Users and/or Promote Users and Groups in SBM
Promoting users and groups involves promoting the global process application. The global process application contains users, groups, triggers, auxiliary table and system auxiliary tables. During the promotion process, you can choose not to promote auxiliary tables, but auxiliary table structure and triggers, for instance, will always be promoted.
CMS-XML Very slow response time when issuing the S2 command
Customer reports that they are seeing very slow response time when trying to display the package component list, using either 1.6.2, or the S2 command from option 5. Investigation revealed that the problem seems to be directly related to the number of promotable libtypes assigned to a large number of promotion levels. Specifically, the application in question has 61 promotion levels, and each promotion level has 60 libtypes defined for it (i.e. 3660 promotion dataset for this application).
