CMS-XML How to upgrade the Azul Systems JRE that is used with SLM 2.3.0?
Although this leaves no obvious attack vector against a running SLM server, a corporate directive may exist to upgrade any JRE that is known to have a security vulnerability, regardless of whether it can be exploited. This KB doc shows how to replace the JRE of SLM with a newer one.
CMS-XML The Software Licenses and Download site (SLD) asks for an SLM License Server HOSTID value. What should be put there? How should the generated key be applied?

CMS-XML SLM on Linux/UNIX fails to start with error: Invalid License File
12:39:56 (lmgrd) Invalid License File [rgering@or-rgering-el7 linux]$ There is no message in SLM.log (or SerenaLicenseServer.log for pre- SLM 2.3 .0 servers), and if this file does not already exist it isn't being created either.
CMS-XML How to enable SLM client logging?
Using mlclient from SLM 2.3 .0 or newer (e.g. CM 14.5.1, SBM 11.6, VM 8.6.2 and newer), you can create a unique filename per process by using %p in the name of the file (e.g. C:\logs\mlclient_%p .log)
