If you use Oracle as your database and you login to workcenter and you don't see any applications or any SBM items at all take a look in the following log . C:\Program Files\Serena\SBM\Common\jboss405\server\default\log\workCenter.log You may see errors like the following:

This error usually means the Mover Tomcat services is running as a named NT user (in this case jsmith) but the user jsmith is either 1.) Not a user in the VM project specified by the Mover source. 2.) The password specified in the Mover source is different than the one specified for the user in the VM project. The passwords can but don't have to match the password for the NT service account.
