Error when logging into Mariner, "Instance is read only"

VM: PCLI - The project root could not be loaded: "ProjectDBPath" -or- The project root could not be loaded: ""
This can happen when commands are copied from Microsoft Office or Outlook documents, when those tools have been configured to replace certain characters with nicer looking equivalents (dashes, smart quotes, etc.). While the replacement characters may be more pleasing to the eye, they are not functionally equivalent and will cause failures when used from command line tools like PCLI.
