The symptoms of this problem are you can't run any orchestrations. The orchestration will show in the AlfEventManager.log file but won't actually do anything after that. Another symptom is you can't deploy any application that has an orchestration in it.

If you want you can then edit that endpoint in the Application Repository and make it point to a different location. This would most likely occur when an endpoint in the "Test Environment" might point to a test server and then you could edit that endpoint in the "Production Environment" to point to a production server where the web services would then be run against.
Take a look at the server.log file (by default, located at C:\Program Files\Serena\SBM\Common\jboss405\ server \default\log) and see if there are any errors related to the orchestration events.
If the above command is ran as per the Installation Guide for Windows on Page 359, the error occurs. Click the "Enable Serena Business Mashups Security Authentication" check box In the Username/Password fields use the same SBM user that you use in the "Auth" sections of your SBM Web Services. The username specified on this screen is only used to login to the SSO server but the actions performed by the web services will still be performed by the username specified in the Orchestration Workflow steps.
