CMS-XML Can I launch AppScript from URL with sso user login?
When using SSO there's no way to do this. SBM has several authentication types available with increasing levels of security. SBM does support an authentication type that allows for login parameters on the URL (Form/URL/ Cookie ) but this does not work for all authentication types.

This hostname may be a traditional Windows hostname or a Fully Qualified Domain Name (FQDN). The SSO Server uses the FQDN to set a common domain cookie in the web browser that includes the sign on token. If each app specifies a different domain or one specifies no domain at all, the SSO server will not be able to find the common domain cookie that was previous set.
CMS-XML Web Admin shortcut in separate browser type: so you can use the admin and user interface as separate users at once
Upon return, the browser will show that you are still the original user, but your actions and privileges will be those of the admin you signed in as afterward. This is due to cookies . Using a separate browser for the admin than the user interface will allow you to sign in as an admin in this browser and the user in your default browser, thereby allowing admin and testing at the same time.

Try resetting the authentication. For example, open Configurator and change from SSO authentication to use Cookies , click Apply, change it back to SSO, and Apply.
