Dim: After upgrading my dm_make component still shows the same version id

As an example, the dm_make installed with Dimensions CM 10.1.3.3#29 shows version 1.4.8 Dimensions CM 12.2 dm_make also shows version 1.4.8. How can this be?

Accessing legacy "Task Baseline" dimensions
|
In PPM (Mariner) 2009 and later, the baseline data is stored in a more traditional way within the task plan itself. After you upgrade to PPM, the first time that you open a task plan, the data in the task plan is migrated (See S137503 ). During this migration the data from the legacy "task baseline" dimension is moved to the new task plan baseline.

In the meantime, we recommend that you utilize the table RM_USERS. One caveat with using actual tables rather than a published view is that the tables are sometimes changed as we upgrade and therefore queries may need to be rewritten. We strive to maintain the published views in a more or less constant state in order to decrease the need for changes in customer written queries.

Dimensions CM 2009 R2: Visual Studio 2010 Support added.

If you are an existing Dimensions CM 2009 R2 user and you wish to add Visual Studio 2010 support, first you need to upgrade to the new client. and then after the upgrade has completed select Repair/Modify to add the integration component. You can perform the second step by running the installer again or using the control panel Add or Remove Programs.
