When you export an app from within Composer the validation process runs on the app. If you need to export the app from composer without the validation happening for troubleshooting reasons follow these steps.

When trying to connect Composer on a client machine using a secure connection ( Port 8243 ) you may see the following error. Composer error - connection attempt failed .
" Failed to retrieve valid security token from [STS URL]" -- Review the URL and ensure that it is correct. Is it using HTTPS? If so, is the port correct?
Before the Release Package process app will pass validation, you must open the Environments process app and check it in. This will put it in your Composer cache. Then, you can open Release Package and deploy.
