Using #VSAMESA to compile and link some older IOO 3.1.3 rules in IOO 3.1.4 results in the ASMA043E assembly error below because rule VESA0040 exists twice.
EMC’s INFOMOVR experienced a S0C4 in IEFTB723. The LINK to IEFTB723 was from module loaded into CSA by asid STRTIOO. The link was at offset +x'4FBE' and the eyecatcher shows ULTI100.
workaround: For those sites that change the global options and want to disable the LBI interface: 1) update IOO.MAC(ULTIGBL) and set &LBI=NO before reassembling and linking or 2) use the DCF ISPF interface option 2 - Maintain and IOO-DCF table then type GLOBAL on the command line then set 'activate LBI support = N' save then activate the new dcf table
