The cause of the error is that the licensing modules are not available. Make the SERCOMC load library < as shipped > available to the StarBat batch. Note: For a more meaningful message issued when the licensing modules are not available, install patch package FDM 7.7.0.1 which can be accessed by specifyig P2482 under 'ask a question' above case manager from the support page at www.serena.com/support .

When the documentation was redone in FDM 7.7, the installation instructions for the extra licensed options, like 'extended compare', were accidentally omitted. To determine if your site has one of these options installed, issue command CONTROL DEFAULTS on the FDM command line of the FDM main menu and look at the PDS100I message.
