The information in the SER10TY 3.1 User Guide has lots of steps and documentation. What is the minimum amount needed to do to get an XML-formatted license installed?
When running any Serena mainframe product that uses SER10TY 4.x (i.e. XML) license keys, users are liable to see the following warning messages: LIC0028W System capacity (nnn MSU) exceeds limit for <product> license (nnn MSU), within warning range. LIC0049W <product> allowed to continue with license validation errors.
How do you specify the license data sets when allocating files for a session (XML license)? Nothing exists in the SER10TY manual on how to make these licensing data sets accessible to a user session.
2) Your site should have the SER10TY guide that talks about the install. If you do not have the ser10ty install guide, it can be obtained from the sos site under the 'download documentation' and then select the appropriate FDM release. Follow the process using the license keys.
