Under 3.4 LISTC, an attempt to delete a multivolume data set extent with the extra volumes in error message ‘DATA SET IS SMS MANAGED AND NOT CATALOGED; CANNOT BE DELETED’. COMMAND ===> SCROLL ===>CSR
The user should delete the indicated variable in the error message. The user can also delete several of the other PDS variables. The ISPF cut and paste service also can creates excessive variable that can be removed .
This parameter should not be included in the active list of installed parameters as it will prevent a 'seed record' from being added to a vsam record to initialize it. The addition of the 'seed record' should be the default. remove the noted items from the source.
