CMS-XML How to create a link to a report that will include the SBM header
How to create a link to a report that will include the SBM header
CMS-XML Submit date in Work Center search results shows as UTC date instead of local date.
If you do a search in Work Center the submit date will show as part of the search results. If the submit date that displays shows in UTC time but when you actually open the item the submit date field shows the correct local time see the following workaround.
CMS-XML "Request is expired." received when attempting to login via SSO
This error will occur in a distributed install where the system clocks are out of sync by the default of 60 minutes or more. Make sure that all server components using SSO have their system clocks synchronized.
CMS-XML When I change the Requests or Approvals report in Request Center it shows a blank screen.
Last Modified Date Submit Date If any of these fields are not part of the report then the tab will show nothing even though if you run the report in the classic UI items will show.
CMS-XML Error getting catalog: Serena Security Token invalid or expired when logging into Request Center.
If you opened the following file on the server where the Single Sign On component is installed you may see errors like below, also indicating this problem. C:\Program Files\Serena\SBM\Common\jboss405\server\default\log\sso-idf.log The following errors are an indication the serial numbers don't match between installations.
CMS-XML SLA status shows on the form as "no sla status", and SLA reports are missing
The SLA feature is part of the Serena Request Center (SRC). To use the SLA feature, you must associate the project with a service in SRC. Once this is done, the widget will populate correctly and the SLA reports will be available.
CMS-XML Error getting SLA data: Connection Refused: Connect when clicking on a service icon in Request Center.
The other option is to not use https for JBoss. In order to do that remove the port value for the https field in the JBoss Server tab and uncheck the use https checkbox on the Component Server tab in the JBoss section. After clicking Apply this will force JBoss to always connect via http and you won't see this error in Request Center.

What Can You Change? The configuration of self-service provisioning and deployment includes the following parts :
CMS-XML Can you install just the Knowledge Management app from SOO and use it free standing?
The Knowledge Management app that ships with the Orchestrated Ops solution including Service Manager and Request Center was built to work with the other apps via the Request Center shell. The way the Knowledge Management app is designed doesn't lend itself to be run on its own without using the Request Center shell.
CMS-XML Putting a space at the end of the default value for a Title in a Request Center service doesn't hold on to the space.
When you setup a Request Center service you can set the default value of the Title field to contain something like "Request:" but even if you put an extra space at the end of the default value the user still has to type an extra space before they start typing the title. Sometimes the user doesn't type the space and the title looks strange as the first few words are pushed together.
