The scenario can be if you use a valid sessionId for a different DB than the one you intended. If the object to be added to the Collection exists but the Collection doesn't exist, the web service does nothing and returns a "Success" rather than returning an error.

This message is expected as the Class selected in the report does not match the renamed Class. However when you attempt to edit the report to make the change the window appears with the "Loading" message but never returns access back to the user so the report cannot be altered. The Class name will have to be changed back to what it was in the Class Definition in order for the report to function again.

CMS-XML RM2009R2: Attributes disappear in Class Definition
Click OK and again OK. Right-click Define the same class again and all text attributes have disappeared. To get them back you need to save and exit the tool and start it again. You will now see the attributes again (with the correctly changed display name ).
