AddObjectToCollection Web Service doesn't return an error if you specify a collection that doesn't exist

The scenario can be if you use a valid sessionId for a different DB than the one you intended. If the object to be added to the Collection exists but the Collection doesn't exist, the web service does nothing and returns a "Success" rather than returning an error.

As a result, client libraries used in SLM 2.1.4-based product only wait 100ms for a response from the License Server if those clients only specify the name of the SLM server (and not port number as wel). This is quite a bit shorter than the timeout found in previous releases.

This message is expected as the Class selected in the report does not match the renamed Class. However when you attempt to edit the report to make the change the window appears with the "Loading" message but never returns access back to the user so the report cannot be altered. The Class name will have to be changed back to what it was in the Class Definition in order for the report to function again.

List of Reserved Words for Oracle

In Class Definition the following list of Oracle reserved words and characters will not be accepted when creating a relationship link between classes or as the name of a newly created class. Using any of these will result in an error.

RM2009R2: Attributes disappear in Class Definition
|
Click OK and again OK. Right-click Define the same class again and all text attributes have disappeared. To get them back you need to save and exit the tool and start it again. You will now see the attributes again (with the correctly changed display name ).
